Ghost Hunt – Strutt’s Haunted School House

This grand grade 11 listed building and lovely established grounds. There are many interesting and original features throughout, reflecting the life the building has enjoyed since it opened in 1909.

With many ghost stories, this is the ideal location for a paranormal investigation.

While walking around this magnificent school, our medium had this overwhelming feeling that we were being followed… the energy she picked up was that of a man in authority,  was this the late owner George Herbert Strutt, or the Headmaster a Mr W Tunnicliffe?

Who still roams the corridors of this magnificent building? 

After speaking to the staff, we believe it might well be George, staff too have had this feeling, they have also reported that they often hear doors slamming in corridors, one after the other.  when no one else is in the building, cold spots have been felt making the hairs on your arms stand up! And not forgetting the disembodied voices that have been heard. His clothed skeleton was discovered half a mile from his home by forestry workers, but it was too late to ascertain his cause of death.

With so many rooms to explore, this Old School house is not for the faint hearted!
