Join us on our fantastic Ghost Walk at Bradgate Park!
This has to be one of the most popular visitor attractions in Leicestershire and it s easy to see why.
Bradgate is iconic in British History as it was once the family home of Lady Jane Grey who was Queen of England for just 9 days at the age of 16.
As the least known British monarch, the story of Lady Jane is even more exciting and the ruins of her childhood home remain on this site today. This is also a hugely popular location for archaeological investigations … as well as paranormal ones…
But whose spirits remain at Bradgate Park?
Wander around Bradgate with the Haunted Heritage Team. Visit the ruins of the house and explore the Chapel where you will be part of a vigil. Throughout the evening, you will be able to use our equipment to see what activity you can pick up.
Take a step back in time and see what you will uncover. Other than the Grey family, a number of other families are recorded to have resided here.
Who will you discover and what stories do they have to tell?
Help the Haunted Heritage team to uncover the people of the past who would have lived and worked at the park.
With so much history, as you can imagine, Bradgate has so many ghost stories and so many reported sightings of spirit energies so come and see for yourself!
So who not join the Haunted Heritage team on a ghost walk around Bradgate Park, taking in the historical significance and tales of ghostly encounters!
The Grey Family were the most famous residents with Lady Jane Grey becoming the first Queen of England in 1553, to rule alone albeit for just 9 days. This story is so important Haunted Heritage dedicate a special ghost walk during the Queen of Bradgate Events each July.
However this site also has a strong association with the English Civil War and the Greys nemeses ‘The Hastings’.
