Gresley Old Hall is a historic building located in Church Gresley, Derbyshire, England. This building dates to around 1556 and was built for Sir Christopher Alleyn.

Did you know?
Near the site of Gresley Old Hall once stood Gresley Priory.
The priory was founded between 1106 and 1135 and has a long history. However, following the monasteries’ dissolution in 1556, the priory fell into disrepair. It is reputed that the stone from the priory was used to build Gresley Old Hall. Are the spirits of the monks from the original priory still walking around?
Does Sir Christopher’s spirit still linger within the walls?
Gresley Old Hall has a notoriously spooky atmosphere, with creaky floorboards, winding staircases and long, dark, unforgotten rooms. This location will not disappoint.
