Tamworth Castle
Tamworth Castle is a Grade I listed building. The history begins in the 11th century when the Normans built the castle. Today, it is one of the best-preserved motte-and-bailey castles in England.
Dating back to Anglo-Saxon times. The castle overlooks the mouth of the river Anker,  Tamworth, Staffordshire.
Many visitors are intrigued by the fascinating history behind the structures featured at Tamworth Castle.
