What To Expect

Join us on our impressive Ghost Walk at Bosworth Battlefield!

You cannot get a better ghost walk than this.

This place is hugely significant in British History for being the site of the famous battle between King Richard III and Henry Tudor on 22nd August 1485.

Whose spirits will you encounter around the battlefield site?

Wander across Ambion Hill with your K2 meters and dowsing rods and see what activity you can encourage.  With many ghost stories about ghostly figures and the sound of galloping horses, come along and embrace the atmosphere here.

Walk with us down to Shenton Station.

Shenton Station, which is the end line of the Battlefield Line Railway.  Although the station building is not originally from the area, there is a strange atmosphere after sunset.

We stop here for a vigil for a little while, so be prepared… there are undoubtedly some energies around… who are they?

Who will you discover down at Shenton Station?

And finally, into Ambion Woods, which would once have seen Navvies from the Victorian Era.

Do any of them still walk through the trees in this eerie woodland?  What stories do they have to tell you, and what was life like for them?

Bosworth Battlefield Ghost Walk

With so much history, as you can imagine, Bosworth and Shenton have so many ghost stories and reported sightings of spirit energies, so come and see for yourself!

So who did not join the Haunted Heritage team on a ghost walk around Bosworth Battlefield, taking in the historical significance and tales of ghostly encounters?

More than just a battlefield

This remote venue witnessed one of the most critical battles in English history in 1485, with the demise of Richard III and Henry Tudor taking the crown of England.

However, this venue has more history than you would expect; theories are that it was once a high-profile Roman site, and there are also strong links with the Victorian engineering that took place nearby with the building of the canals and railway.

If you believe in the stone tape theory or residual energy, this place has held on to a lot.
