Ghost Walk Bosworth Battlefield

Join us on our amazing Ghost Walk at Bosworth Battlefield!

You cannot get a better ghost walk than this.

This place is hugely significant in British History for being the site of the famous battle between King Richard III and Henry Tudor which took place on 22nd August 1485.

Whose spirits will you encounter around the battlefield site?

Wander across Ambion Hill with your K2 meters and dowsing rods and see what activity you can encourage.  With many ghost stories about ghostly figures and the sound of galloping horses, come along and embrace the atmosphere here.

Walk down to the beautiful Shenton Station, which is the end line of the Battlefield Line Railway.  Although the station building is not originally from the area, there is certainly a strange atmosphere after the sun has set.

We stop here for a vigil for a little while so be prepared… there are undoubtedly some energies around… who are they?

Who will you discover down at Shenton Station?

And finally, into Ambion Woods, which would once have seen Navvies from the Victorian Era.

Do any of them still walk through the trees in this eerie woodland?  What stories do they have to tell you and what was life like from them??

With so much history, as you can imagine, Bosworth and Shenton has so many ghost stories and so many reported sightings of spirit energies so come and see for yourself!

So who not join the Haunted Heritage team on a ghost walk around Bosworth Battlefield, taking in the historical significance and tales of ghostly encounters!

Guests must be 16 years of age to attend.  Please ensure that you wear suitable clothing and footwear as this location can be very cold and uneven under foot.

Ghost Walk – Ashby de la Zouch

Join us on our amazing Ghost Walk around Ashby-de-la-Zouch!

Ashby de la Zouch is an ancient market town and civic parish in North West Leicestershire.

The town was originally known as “Ashby” which was an Anglo-Danish word meaning Ash Tree Farm.  It became Ashby-d-la-Zouch after the Norman conquest, when the La Zouch family came into possession of Ashby during the reign of King Henry III.

Ashby-de-la-Zouch has many stories to tell … especially as there remain ruins of a 12th Century castle here.  This castle is stunning and well worth a visit.

The castle and the town came into the possession of the Hastings family in 1464 and it was William Hastings that enhanced its fortifications.

Will you pick up any of the Hastings family as we meander past the castle ruins?

During the English Civil War, Ashby-de-la-Zouch one was of the Cavaliers’ chief garrisons under the command of Colonel Henry Hastings.

Will you encounter any spirits as you wander through the streets of the town?

Many of the buildings in Market Street, the town’s main thoroughfare date back to Elizabethan times and have some of the original timber frames.

With so much history, as you can imagine, this town has many a ghost story.

So who not join the Haunted Heritage team on a ghost walk around the Ashby de la Zouch, taking in the historical significance and tales of ghostly encounters!

Guests must be 16 years of age to attend.
